A Note From the Founder: Vacation Time!
by Kerry Cordy

I will be on vacation with my family from July 1-14, but will do my best to continue to answer emails daily though I cannot guarantee I will always have internet access so please excuse any delay.

Abby Olson, my very first office manager, has agreed to come back and run the office while I am gone for the first week to ensure that orders go out in a timely manner. Orders with custom badges may be delayed however. Orders that cannot ship while I am gone will ship the week of July 17. My apologies for the delay.
New Badges Added!
With the latest Fidget Spinner craze, learn about the purpose behind this current fad.

Summer is here which mean lots of visits to amusement and theme parks. Check out our new Theme Park (Specific) badge to learn about your specific park or use requirements specific to a variety of Disney parks.
Visit Headquarters
Beth Vicory, from Arizona, came to visit the Frontier Girls and Quest Clubs Headquarters with her mom and grandma for a week. She jumped right in and helped make badges and pack orders while she learned about how Frontier Girlsadn Quest is run. In addition helping out at the office, she also got to see the local sites including the Sundial Bridge, one of the largest working sundials in the world!

If you ever visit northern California, make an appointment to come by and visit the Quest Clubs headquarters and have a chance to make your very own badge!
Life Skills Achievement Award
Summer is the perfect time to start working on the Life Skills Acheivement Award. While it may look intimidating, if you take just one skill per day, the award can be earned in one month. Don't let your kid start college and not even know how to boil water!
Summer Service
How will you spend your time this summer? Make sure to dedicate some time to those less fortunate. Even if your schedule is packed, here are a few simple ideas to make an impact on your community.

1. Go through your closets and donate any clothes you have not worn in the last year to a local charity or rescue mission.

2. Get your friends together and clean out your kitchen cupboards and donate canned goods and non-perishables to your local food bank.

3. Spend an afternoon teaching a senior citizen how to use their electronics or computer.

4. Improve your mind and feed the hungry at the same time. Test your vocabulary skill on freerice.com. The organization will donate 10 grains of rice through the World Food Programme for every answer you get right. (This is a paid advertising site not associated with Frontier Girls so visit at your own risk).

5. Spend an hour singing or playing music at a senior citizen center.
